Automating a Manual Tank Process

Project Overview

Stainless Designs was recently engaged to automate a manual processing plant. The goal was to eliminate manual handling, reduce product contamination risk, and reduce product losses.

The Solution
Flow plates were removed and replaced with Valves. The system now operates without operator intervention. All Product changeover and Clean in Place (C.I.P) now happens automatically, reducing safety concerns around handling hot pipe work filled with cleaning chemicals, as well as reducing Product Contamination risks and minimising Product Losses. The automated process saves time and eliminates the chance of manual error.
