Integrated Management System

Integrated management is relevant to any organisation, regardless of size or sector, looking to integrate two or more of its management systems into one cohesive system with a holistic set of documentation, policies, procedures, and processes.

This unified approach has multiple benefits:

  • Customer focus

  • Leadership

  • Involvement of people

  • Process approach

  • Organisational context

  • Continual improvement

  • Fact-based decision making

  • Risk-based thinking

Stainless Designs Integrated Management System (IMS) is designed to manage all aspects of the organisation’s operations under one governing framework. The IMS brings together multiple standards, such as those for quality, environmental, health and safety, and information security management.

We are committed to following the guidelines of ISO International Standards and continue to strive towards compliance and accreditation within these standards. The interactions of these standards lends itself to the sharing of procedures, processes, forms, checklists and records which are applicable across multiple standards.

Our Commitments

At Stainless Designs and as engineers we play a vital role in helping the communities and economies in which we operate continue to transition into a more sustainable future. Our people are at the heart of all that we are about and share our commitment to provide an inclusive, safe and enjoyable place to work.

Our approach today focuses on driving positive change in key areas to underpin our commitments.

Diversity and inclusion

We provide practical tools and processes for conducting health and safety assessments across all work we undertake and with the inclusion of all stakeholders involved or impacted by our work.

Our safety process assists with:

  • eliminating hazards

  • preventing incidents and near misses

  • assessing, managing, controlling and reducing risk

  • managing injury and rehabilitation

  • promoting best practice health, safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement

Quality

Our approach to project delivery is rigorous from initial planning through engineering design, fabrication offsite, construction onsite, and handover of a quality solution for our clients.

We mentor our professional engineers towards bringing fresh ideas within their design lead thinking from concept design through to the completion of the built deliverable.

Environment

We recognise our responsibility to meet community expectations and we are committed to the continuous improvement of our environmental position and performance.

Information Security Management

Information security management determines how our organisation should organise and manage information security in the course of conducting business. We are committed to ongoing development of this important system as part of our IMS.
